I've read por15 is good stuff.  Could it be used for a bedliner?
ya I guess you could use it as bedliner it would take a few coats... but I wouldn't personally do it because it lays out supper smooth and would probably be really slick.

Ok it’s been awhile since I have updated my build. I finally got both axles and my suspension done other than shocks. front axle gusseted with  a high pinion 5.29's and ARB air locker, 30 spline chromoly axles and birfields new wiper kit, high steer, got my ifs box mounted and  new power steering pump. I also spun my rear perches.

Now I need to mount some shocks get an ARB air pump rear wheel spacers and get my interior done and make some bumpers and rock sliders....

I apologize for the crappy pictures guys...

frame looking like swiss cheese

My front driveline angle (still need to extend it 2 1/2inches)

running used but like new marlin 5'' springs in the front that have already settled and 35'' tires my clearance to the front spring hanger is 30 3/4 inches

Nice truck man. that frame looks good with the por on it.
I have one of those aux fuel tanks I took out of my 81. I ended up changing my front take do to the plastic 90 degree fitting in the bottom of my tank. Might wont to see what fitting yours has.

I have been very happy with my Bilstein's, you can find every shocks full compression&extension measurements and compare with your truck.
Personally running 12" front+rear.

Id run bilsteins if you can swing the price for them.... I would advise against using por 15 as a bed liner as it is not uv resistant it would need to be top coated..

haven't been able to update in a while with holiday season, year around school and being sick for a couple weeks but I do have a few pics of what iv been working on. when I got the truck the interior was pretty clean, however it had a bad odor and the wiring was horrific so I needed to pull the dash and clean it up so I didn't have a fire hazard  :yikes: I am not a fan of the brown interior so I thought id switch it up a little.  I am still working on some rocker switches CB radio and the stereo, also planning on doing the floor board with lineX but should be rapped up here in a week or two..

2 layers of fiberglass later

I sanded and did a couple light layers of Bondo

this is a pic of it installed and a grey dash swap

Looks great! Only advice I have is plate the front frame. Esp around the steering box. It will crack.

Looks great.  Its tough to find a clean interior these days.  I didn't care when I was young but its nice to have a more "complete" truck.
