Topic: What tire size to run on a 2gn runner???

What size tire to run on my 2gn runner. Vehicle will use for trails runs, camping trip, trips down to Baja....

Vehicle is a 90 runner its going to get SAS with5" lift...

for that lift you can run 35-39s depending on your budget

I would go three or four inch springs and 35s for an expedition setup. I went 5" and now wish I would have kept it lower. 35s are cheap and easy to get anywhere and you can still do any difficult trail just not extreme stuff. Then there is the lack of power, if you're gonna do long trips don't get too crazy

I think I'm going to 35 ...Not going to get to wild on it  plans, dual cases,roll cage , biff up all drivetrain...

I have been getting by on 35s with a mild 4-5" SAS setup with just improved birfields and 5.29s and a 4.7 t-case.  We daily drive it and use it for the exact kind of thing you have in mind.  35s seem to be well within the mechanical limits of my setup, I hardly ever break anything unless I get stupid and its good on any trail I throw it at, good on the highway and long trips. I get 19-21 mpg most tanks and I have goten up to 26 mpg on a long trip with a 3RZ engine swap.

I have 35 on mine, 4;56s with single 4.7 tcase, locked front and rear. With the 3.0 i get 12mpg...

3. Guzzler I manage 15 mpg 35s w 5.29s

Thank guys I thing I'm do 35" 5:29....... I'm savings up a 3.4 swap.I will post my build once I get started...
