i HAVE A FRIEND MATT AND HE CALLED AND ASKED A Q-AND I DIDN'T HAVE A GOOD ANS-FOR HIM SO HERE IT GOES. 1. IF YOU DROP YOUR REAR DRIVELINE, AND YOU CAN SPIN THE BIG FAT WASHER UNDER THE 30 MM PINION NUT AND THE NUT IS STILL UNDER TORQ-AND STILL STAKED TOO, 2. WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS . 3.AND WHAT'S THE FIX ON THIS? 4.MATT ALSO DAID THAT HIS FRIEND TONY ALSO HAS THE SAME LOOSE WASHER IN THE 3RD MEMBER TOO ON THE SAME TRUCK TOO , 5.I ASKED IF THE TRUCK RAN AND HE SAID YES , BUT IT HAS A MAJOR VIBRATION WHEN YOU DRIVE IT. WHAT WOULD CAUSE BOTH THE PINION NUT ON THE COPANION FLANG AND ON THE PINION NUT TO STILL BE TIGHT AND THE WASHER UNDER IT TOO BE LOOS?
Any answers to the post by 4RUNNERJADE ? He posted it to the TECHNICAL ARTICLES section, but it probably should be here.
Is the pinion the right one for the differential? Is the flange the proper flange? Is the driveline the proper driveline?
