2UZ-FE small block, 5K miles (from a non-VVTI tundra)
« on: Dec 29, 2012, 12:31:52 PM »
Few months ago I picked up a 2UZ-FE small block (with pistons and crank) from a 1gen-tundra (non-VVTI) with only 5K miles on it. Pulled one of the bearing caps and it looked brand new. Had plans on building it with my existing heads after having them rebuilt. However, I then picked up a complete motor with accessories with 55K miles on it. So the short block has to go to pay for maintenance and swap for the complete motor. Asking $400. If shipping is needed, buyer will need to set-up pick-up and pay for it. Located in Antioch, CA 94509. I'll obtain pics and post as soon as possible. Please PM with any interest.

Here's the pics. The brown coloring is from the oil, not from rust.  This has been kept wrapped up with the plastic and boxed:

Closest pic I can get of the cylinder wall.  You can still see the cross pattern from the factory.

Crank and bearing cap

ok, Im sorry, I have to say it. A block, without heads, is called a short block. Small block and big block are referring to the actual size of the block, not its current completeness. A long block would be complete block and heads. Not to be confused in the toyota world of short and tall decks sometimes called short block or tall block. Anyways, good luck with the sale. BUMP
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

ttt...

BoG-ToY.  Thanks for clarifying. I did mis-use the terms. Not sure why I put "small" instead of "short"

Wanting to buy a welder. So price has been dropped to $400 for quick sale. Last time I'll drop the price. Otherwise, I'll just hold on to it.
