Topic: Cal Grant

I got my Cal Grant a couple days ago in the mail for $1500.  But it sucks arse cuz i can't use it at Sierra College, were i want to go to.  Sierra is only a junior college and the Cal Grant won't work there.  Hopefully i can get financial aid through the fafsa.

Damn it boy, what did you have to do in order to get that? I've already done my FASFA for 05'-06' year. How do I apply for the Cal Grant?

I don't know.  My counler at school gave me a paper to fill out and i filled it out.  She filled out the rest, hich was my GPA and other school stuff.  Once we sent that in then i was qualified to get the grant.  and i got it.  I really hope to get the fafsa finacial aid too.  We have very little money coming in so if we don't get it then they are dumb.

thought you could only use financial aid for college stuff.

If you get a student loan, they automatically transfer the money toward your university bill. But if your University bill is already paid for, then the money goes to your checking account.
