Rancho with all pro springs
« on: Jun 12, 2002, 03:40:42 PM »
:help:Does anyboy know what model RS9000's I should purchase to go with a 5" all pro lift in the front(not the extra long springs but they are off set) and what size shocks for a regular superlift rear 4.5".  I know I should measure them, but I wont get to install them til next month and I want to take advantage of Rancho's sale plus I know they sag about an inch later on and I don't want to buy shocks that are too long.  If you guys are using different shocks, let me know also, because I'm sure they can cross the numbers.

Thanx

Get the 9012's and you can't go wrong - never need to buy another shock that way. You will need to put new shock mounts on though..

If you want the right size ones that bolt up there is a shock chart at the bottom of the bible on the pirate4x4 tech page

:drool:Brandon, what kind of mounts would I need to make are they very hard, I don't really want loops, I am capable of fabricating though.  Any suggestions would be appreciated and would they bolt on to the rear, you are suggesting 9012's all around right?

one option is to change the orientation of your shocks to tilt inward, like this:

With a runner you'd just have to fab something that works, I don't know what kind of room you have..

or something like this:

for the front, I used hoops but on my other rig I used some reciever tube and made them adjustable so I could run my short shocks until I had the $$ for the longer ones
