Topic: 84 auto trans and transfercase

Is an automatic transmission and transfercase good for anything or have any value? I may get one in a deal and i want to swap it for a w56 but i also am breaking the bank buying the vehicle it comes in. So the only option would be to trade does it have any value?

if its for the 22re...i couldn't even give it away for free on craigslist after i did my 5sp swap...don't bother
it's now waiting in my backyard for whenever i feel like moving the 500lb monster to the scrap yard

that won't work. dual case = gear driven cases
the 22re/a340h auto transfer case is chain driven and shares atf fluid with the trans. its pretty much connected to it as one piece.
