Ca NEWB, 87 long bed, ready to start a project.
« on: Aug 18, 2012, 02:11:16 PM »
An '85 4Runner would have been my first choice, but I'm the proud owner of an '87 second gen long bed.
Owned it about 4 months now.

I come from a family of Toyota owners and I'm finally on the grid!  :hahaha:

I currently sit stock, 4wd, with no special talents other than her dash and dome lights still kickin' :P

I'm ready to start saving money and building.
WHERE DO I START?!
:dunno:

My brother, my Yota mentor, is currently driving truck.
I always wanted to start my first project with him, but I can't wait anymore.  :shocking:

I bought a new muffler today, got tired of the noise and smell.
Where should I go next? Radiator? Engine? Tires/Suspension? Something smaller, like hoses? :hammerhead:
