powertrax locker not locking in reverse.
« on: Apr 14, 2012, 12:07:09 AM »
As the title states I have a Powertrax locker in the rear and it does not lock while in reverse.  Any advice as to what this could be or how to fix it would be well appreciated.  Especially since I am planning on making a run up Bald Mtn in a couple of weeks.

Is it a powertrax lock right or limited slip?

Powertrax lock right positive locking.  It is not a limited slip.  Thanks.

Id say the springs inside the locker are worn out.   You can order a set with new pins and springs for about 30 bucks.

I was wondering about that but figured they were ok since it works fine when moving forward.
