Topic: Please Help - L52 & Transfer case gear oil fill

Hi, can someone please assist.  Transmission L52 and matching transferr case, can they be topped off with gear oil from top (inside of cab)?

Can!  Put a pan under the fill bolt and remove the fill bolt on the side of the transmission and fill from the top of  trans until u hear the oil dripping out fill bolt.  Same with transfer case.  Just make sure you are on level ground

Thanks!  filling underneath is not fill friendly.
