Juckyard seats for 80

Think it can happen without much work. And anyone out there know whats seats would work best was thinking about some from a jetta

I put 96+ civic seats in my 81 toy but it sits kinda high
ima short guy so it dont bother me much
oh and its ghetto no custom brackets or anything special i just put bolts thru where i could to hold down the seats

have ones out of my 92 nissan sentra 3 holes lined up one needed a 2 inch spacer.

Prelude, Integra, Civic seats all go into a 1st Gen truck easily..

I use seats from a 91' Prelude in my 1st gen.
80' p/u, 35's, dual cases, hi-steer, detroits, longs, propane....etc...you know

You should be able to do it for under $80.  To make things easy on you, take some measurements of the bolt holes you have now, and look for seats that have the same/nearly the same measurements as 1st gen.

Easiest swaps will be seats from Toyota's first than other Asian imports, yet to swap European or U.S. buckets.  Try to get seats with thin backs and bottoms, they wont reduce head and legroom as much, MR2 seats work really well.  Most of the import car seats that I have swapped the outer two mounts and front inner mount have lined up, it is usually the inner rear that has to be drilled if it doesn't line up with the seat belt bolt hole.  Most swaps I have done also require a spacer(usually a couple of washers) under the outer rear mounts to level the seat backs out.

'90 black X-cab mod'd 3.0, 33's/4.88's, rear ARB, custom bumpers, sliders, safari rack, etc.
'91 Blue X-cab 22re, 35's/5.29's,Truetrac front, ARB rear, dual cases, and custom Safari flatbed, bumper, interior.

Well went to pick a part and found some super clean deep buckets outa some 90 turbo eclipse 92 bucks not bad. And thes seats the frams is only 13" wide and only 16 1/2" long coulbn't find much else this narrow as the floor pan of the yota is only 18" from the door to the trans hump but i got the seats from an all wheel drive eclipse alot of other import seats seems to be 18" + some even 20 but pretty stoked on my find about to go clean up the cab now lastnight i started treain into it pulled about 5lbs of dirt and crap under my old bench e en a old pair of needle nose pliers can with the truck all suck down to gooey sound deadner stuff of the floors. And thinks for you alls help lol
