Parting out '82 Pickup, other parts
« on: Dec 21, 2010, 10:08:23 AM »
I'm parting out an '82 Longbed.  The axles, engine and transfer case are spoken for.  It's been rolled over and it's pretty rusty.

The interior is complete, bench seat SR5 gauges.  All the power steering is still there.  It has a GM alternator on it.

I've sold the master cylinder/booster, radiator and clutch reservoir.

I'd pull and ship pretty much anything off it.  Let me know what you need.

In addition to the truck I have

- straight front axle housing - bare, no third or anything from the knuckles out.  Included are the stock axles and birfields $100, obo

- rear axle housing - bare, $50

- 3 L52 5 speeds - $50 each

- 22r out of an '81, was running when pulled.  No carb or intake $200

- Used Weber 32/36 with 22r adapter and old school Downey aluminum air cleaner - $50

Located in Omaha, NE

SOLD:
Master Cylinder & Booster
Clutch Master and clutch pedal
Radiator
Weber, adapter and air cleaner
throttle cable
Both wing windows
Passenger mirror
Window cranks
Power steering box
gas cap
battery cables
Steering column cover
Glove Box door
Alternator bracket
Shift Boot
Heater Duct

price for the gm alternator bracket and the turn signal/ light control. as long as it's not broke.  Mine the little plastic piece that holds it in place is broke so it make mine real touchy and sensative to bumps.   Also friend want to know if you would want to do some swapping for the carb setup.  he has quite a few parts laying around so if you need something maybe you two could work something out.  If so just let me know what you want/need and i'll see if he has it.

Also interested in the gm alt setup, as well as downey air filter if you'd consider separating it from the weber.

This truck is getting pretty picked over, but I'm still going to have it for a few more weeks.

Let me know if there is anything you want.

I pulled all three out of running trucks.  One is in this parts truck.  I drove this truck around some, the trans shifts fine and didn't make any noise.

One was in my '81, that one I know the most about.  I pulled it last year and put in a W56.  There wasn't anything wrong with it, I was putting duals in anyway so it made sense.  It shifted fine, didn't make any bearing noises.

The third I pulled out of a parts truck a friend of mine had.  I never drove it, but he said it was good.  The truck was running and driving when it was parted out.  I know the least about this one.

I don't really know the mileage on any of them, I would estimate all are well over 100,000.  I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

I'm not having much luck selling these, there aren't many first gens in my area.  If you wanted, I'd sell all three for $50.  Shipping would be a killer on that though.
