Hot Sauce / Salsa

Its that time of year, lets see your Hot Sauce and Salsa recipe's.  Gotta few myself.  I like it very hot.

I have an amazing salsa recipe but not sure if I wan't to post it. It's been in our family for YEARS... kinda a "secret" recipe.

However I do have a few others that are written dow in my recipe cabinet. I'll have to take a peek and post 'em up.


I'm curious to see what kinda hot sauce recipes get posted, i'd like to try and make some home made hot sauce.

I make the some pretty fair salsa...no written recipe. I just know what goes in it. It's won a few contests. We'll have to meet for y'all to taste it, 'cause I ain't giving it up.  :yupyup:

I got one too that uses mango's.    good stuff.     



My recipe involves simmering the ingredients for an hour or so.   

Do you guys cook yours or not?

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I use at least 4 varieties...depending on availability, maybe seven different types. They each have different traits. Some are sweet-ish and spicy, some burn up front and slow, some burn in back and quickly and some just add a smoky/savoury quality.

You know abnormaltoy, when we meet up one of these days. I'll need to bring a trailer for all the food.

That'll be the day I gain 10lb's....


My recipe is also in my head, it's not written anywere. Suprisingly easy but VERY good

I do not cook any of my ingrediants.
The key to a GOOD salsa is quality of ingrediants  :)


So who's got some hot sauce recipes?  I use hot sauce in my BBQ sauces, i'd love to add home made instead of store bought.
