Sr5 gauge cluster help

ok, so i got a sr5 gauge cluster, i want it for the built in tach :), how can i tell if my truck is wired for a tach or not? and how do i change the mileage :lipsrsealed:, any help would be gladly appreciated!! :turtle:

K to tell if its wired for a tac pop out your cluster thats in it and see if the very far plug its light blue has 3 wires if not you need to add one, and change out the oil sender. for the miles just pop off the cover shield plastic, and take out the 4 screws that hold in the speedo and move the miles very carefully they will roll with a lil force or you can pop out the little rod and roll them make sure to put the keeps back in.

tach is easy, one wire to the plug off of your coil

Just make sure to change the oil sensor before starting the car, or you will probably fry your tech oil pressure gauge!

On mine I just swapped it in and everything worked, I unplugged to oil switch though.

Sometimes the tach is already hooked up and sometimes it isn't, other than that the oil sensor is the big thing to change out. Everything else is the same.
