You can bypass it by cutting the long arm and locking it in the up position for the quick and easy way. There are other ways to do it and there are several threads on the subject here. I just tie mine up and it works fine. If you want to remove it do a search for LSPV and you should be able to find other fixes for it.

There is a T in your brake line in your front right wheel well one goes to the front brake on right side the other goes to lspv you diconnect the lspv side and plug with bleeder off lspv. Then diconnect all brake lines going to lspv ask someone to hit brakes which ever one squirts is the rear hooked up to the mc. If you hook that one straight up to brake line your brakes will be 50% front 50% rear which is bad but works. Then you can remove the lspv, but I would recomend putting the porportioning valve off first gen toyota it is mounted under the mc it will put your brakes back to stock configuration.

Why would you want to bypass it?

You want to bi pass it because it certain flexing positions you will not have sh*% for back brakes. and in certain spots you will have extremely good brakes.

Plus when you go to larger tires the brake bias balancing act is no longer needed.

You could always get a fixed proportioning vale to bias the front brakes more if you want to do away with the mess of the LSPV. But its just simple enough to zip tie the arm up.
