Interior?
« on: May 24, 2011, 03:53:00 PM »
Okay, so I live in Roseville and need the front seats in my runner redone. I was wondering if anyone in the Sacramento area knew of a shop that would do it on the cheap :gap:?

When I was looking to have my Supra seats redone 2 years ago, I couldn't find anyone in the area willing to do it for under $300/seat.  You might look on the sac craigslist, there are a few ads on there w/one, claiming to be the cheapest in town.  If the cushions are still good, you can get oem quality seat covers for about $200/pair.  The cheapest solution would be swapping in some 2nd or third gen Runner seats, or buckets from a 3rd gen truck or Tacoma.  If you can't find a decent set, you can use two passengers seats and one drivers(non-power) seat, and swap out the good passenger seat back and bottom with the drivers.

If you are in town this weekend, the Pic-n-pull on Pacific Street is having a 50% of sale through Monday, the guy at the sales counter said all manual bucket seats are only $35/pair.  There was a nice set of light brown tweed buckets in an early "90's Camry.  The interior looked like the car had been well cared for, no rips, tears, or even wear marks in the seats.  The Passenger seat was dirty, but it looked like it was more from being in a parts yard than abuse.

Hell ya on the pick n pull bro! Myself I have been running seats from Honda civics or Acura integra seats for years in my trucks their real comfortable and don't need any modifications to the tracks they pretty much bolt right in.
