Can I MIG weld my tapered insert into the pitman arm?

I currently dont have access to TIG and im just wondering the disadvantages if i MIG weld it.  thanks.

MIG is just as strong as TIG it just doesn't look as pretty.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
