15x10 in. wheels with 2" b.s.?

Ok so Im in the market for new wheels I really want to run these wheels my buddy is gonna sell me they are 15x10 with a 2" backspacing. Im gonna run them on 35's for now just wanted some  :twocents: about these wheels also I want to DIY them is anybody running a similar setup let me know I want opinions from everyone

I run 15x8 with 2" backspacing, I like them because they make you wider without using spacers.
1985 toyota SR5, 22re,  5.29's locked front and rear, duals with twin stick, longfields.

but would 15x10 be too much especially if I diy them they will be 15x11.  Mavericks do you have any problems running such a backspaced wheel?

You can't do diy beadlocks with wheels that have that much backspacing. The safety bead is on the wrong side.

thanks peterbuilt84 I didnt realize I couldnt diy them how about just running them in general will that be a mistake too.

Ramon,  these wheels suck. They're like runnin 3 inch spacers all around

Yeah I was thinking about it I was gonna ask you how they did on the trail, but ill just wait til a good set of wheels comes along I found some on the chico craigslist they are 15x10  with 3 inch backspacing they re beadlocks I dont know I guess Ill just wait for a good set of wheels.

No problem man  :thumbs: I've looked into it before, if you want beadlocks with that much backspace you'll have to get custom ones.

I've been running 2" bs 15x10's for six years. No beadlocks. Never lost a trunion bearing or a bead, even at 5psi.

I've never had any problems with wheel bearings or trunion's and Ive had them for about 4 years. With an 8" rim I air down pretty low about 4-5psi and have never lost a bead either.
