if it's a 3rd gen with v6, it's a R150F with a chain drive tcase.  The trans will only bolt up to a v6, unless you get the R151F bellhousing to adapt it to a 4cyl, then you will also need an adapter to run a gear drive tcase if you planning on running duals.  just a little info...

thing is, its a strong tranny, AND if you have that turbo bellhousing and need a good trans for temp, its cool, if I was in anderson, and I had the bellhousing, Id make you an offer better then taking it to the junkyard, but, Im not in anderson, and I dont have a bellhousing
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

its a great tranny if your willing to spend the money on adapters to run the gear drive tcase.  the r150 is the strongest, besides the r151.  the g58 and w56 which are the other 2 trannyies that came with the 3rd gens are 4cyl tranny's.  the r150 is built just like the r151(don't quote me on that).  it is made to handle the higher torque and hp of the v6 vs. the 4cyl.  only problem is the cost of running it in a 4cyl with the gear drive, which really isn't too bad if your looking for the extra beef.

yeah, I dont know what the gearing difference is...but here it is, 349.99 to run this tranny with a cool gear driven case (although the chain case would be JUST FINE for some people)
