Hey Guys,

I am looking into buying a 2nd generation 4runner between the years of 1990-1995 with a 4cylinder and a 5 speed manual transmission.

My question is whether or not there is a dual transfer case set up availible for a 4runner between the years of 1994 and 1995 as I don't see one listed on Marlin's web site (they only list for up to a 1993) or one of the other competitors website?.

Was there a change in the transmissions/ transfer cases between 1993 and 1995for the 4cylinder 5speed equiped 4runners?

My plans are basically to acquire a 2nd generation and  equip it with a SAS, Duals (2.28 &4.70), 5.29's both front and back, ARB lockers, etc..

You need to get a top shift transfer case. The 90-95 4runners even 5 speeds came with a chain driven case to "keep down" on noise complains. Stupid people in the 90s.
