front or rear dig??
« on: Nov 29, 2010, 12:31:27 PM »
I'm wonderin if anyone knows of anything for toyota gear to build a front or rear dig with toyota stuff?? Has this been done or is it possible to build a toyota with toyota stufff to do the digs?  ???I think i've heard of a rear DL disconnect or something to front dig! Has anyone done this or know anything bout wat i am talking bout?? Any input would be great... thanks. I will have chevy dana 60's under my runner build if that matters at all for the front or rear digs! I also have this posted in the toyota section 79-85 hilux on the forum. Wasn't sure where it should be posted!

you can do rear digs with dual cases. front digs you need a rear driveline disconnect, and upgraded output shafts and lower r&p ratios or your gonna pop somthing

I'm set up wit duals now and 5.29's! I will eventually upgrade the output shafts. Ya i know bout the rear dig i guess, used it a few times. But wat does duals have to do wit it??? Just more power or am i thinking wrong here? So how and where do i get a rear DL disconnect at? Thanks

Hey dude that is sick man. I'm gettin that for sure now. Unless it has had a bad turn out or something but looks and sounds legit. Little spendy but i know the trails around here are so tight and it would so be worth it. So if anyone has used these give a holla on how it works for ya!! thanks

I run the one from Front Range with an air ram to move it... Works really good with cutting brakes. You need a rear brake of some kind for it to work right.
