What caused it to bind up? Did u tap the box? Was it making any noises before hand? Does your steering clear everything real well. That would scare the crap outta me. Id be tearing the WHOLE front end apart, the axle, steering all that, and checking EVERYTHING. Its also BAD practice to slam your brakes anytime something goes wrong.
Do you have some sort of locker in the front, is it possible the hubs were locked?
