Don't go too much further foreward because if you do your steering rods will cross over each other and you might possibly put your tie rod ends in a bind when you turn all the way one way or the other.  The steering box can only go so far towards the front core support.  Also the rear frame tubes don't allow the axle to move further foreward the front frame crossmember and the length of the center pin in your leaf springs do that.  There is a way to make sure that your steering is clear and that is to use the rear steer arms by 4x4 labs.

also when you droop it out you don't want your shackle to smack the front of the body mount.

Mine are all the way forward, touching my body mount, I wanted them as far forward as possible. On an ifs frame your uptravel will be limited by the frame, before ur shackle is goin to hit the body. So , I wanted them at a steep angle, to allow alot of droop. I did have to push my steering box all the way against front body mount, and will ne a 3/4 less drop pitman arm, or a flat one, if I dont wanna run bump stops. But it sits real low, and flexes perfect, and there is NO crossing of the tie rod or drag link. Look in my build thread, I have good pics of where I put my tubes.
