most of the 2wd axles were 7.5" and a different spline count....

there were some 8" units though, with the same spline count as the 4wds......but, lug pattern on the axles were 5 on 4.5" not 6 on 5.5"

Yes, I wrote ifs 2wd, "haha" for me too.

A friend just would like to know (as I don't) if he could exchange 3rd member , as wanted bigger tires with his "ifs 2wd"... haha, if their axle shaft diameter + spline count are the same, then he is good...

yep, I do understand that it's a 5-lugged, 7.5" ring and pinion.

btw, what's the gearing ratio used in these "ifs 2wd" haha again? He got an "A05A" axle code, I am supposing its 3.7, correct?

thanks
