youll need 2 (two) MC 23 total spline input shafts. stock cases you are going to get will be likely 21 spline (unless its a turbo, similar but rarer). if you want beef (3.4) you'll prolly want 23 spline.

Maybe look at a 4.7 kit :dunno: also. or an extra (x3) 2.28 shaft.

edit: when your ordering your v6 adapter i think it makes it 23 spline. when you order your doubler, you can choose 21 or 23. i'd upgrade. if you order it all at once im sure it will be checked that it all fits togeather.

for some odd reson im thinking youll need a V6 adapter plate for the tranny to top shift bolt patterns. but i may be wrong. i have a 3.4 also- manual tranny (R151?)- then V6 adapter, then top shift case, then dual adapter (and 23 spline output), then top shift case- i used 2 1983 toyota top shift gear driven cases. but im kinda new to this sooo...... but i thought id throw out the V6 adapter part. and an extended speedo cable.

i got mine from ( i know, please dont hate me.) trail gear. it says its for a 3.0 but my brother in law ( who helped me build this) said to get it, i need it.

ill post a link if you want, i feel bad mentioning TG already- dont want you guys hating me for posting a link to them. :-\

i hope i didnt confuse you or be completely off of what you were lookng for.

if you have a 3.4 with a 5 speed you more than likely have a R150f tranny, not a 86, 87 R151f turbo tranny. which is why you need a v6 adapter.

edit: to the OP: is this going into an newer yota or and older with a motor swap. if its newer your going to need a left adapter $$$ .

Is this what you have for sale?
http://www.marlincrawler.com/transfer-case/t/c-adapters/1995-2004-5vz-fe-34-liter-v6-drivetrains

If so, and the op doesn't bite, I would be interested. How much are you looking to get?

Edit: Nevermind, I found the t360 adapter and see that it is the adapter to put a crawl box onto a taco case. (not what I need).

Crap, you had me going for a second haha. Yeah that adapter is the one that goes in FRONT of the crawl box, which is what you want. I have the one that goes behind the crawl box :)
