Don't wheel alone, I know we are all guilty of this but always try to have another rig there. May have saved them, probably not in this case but I've had a couple times that I've come across people wheeling over their heads and in trouble. Of course I was alone those two times so eh.

Don't wheel alone, ................. May have saved them, probably not in this case but.........

According to the article they were traveling w/a group who witnessed the accident.  The only thing that would have gave them a chance would have been wearing their seat belts.  As our hobby has grown, it is far more common to see people nit wearing seat belts than those that do.  I know most of my friends don't, and a few of them have already been in more than one roll over.  I think most people think w/such a slow speed, not much can happen by not wearing a seat belt.

No seat belt=easy Darwin Award Nominee.

Don't see how the belt interferes w/visibility, unless they are the type that are constantly hanging out the door to see where they are going.

Sometimes the shoulder belt bothers my shoulder when wheeling a long time bouncing around in the cab. In areas that there is no issue I'll slide it behind my back leaving the lap attached, but if it gets tough I'll slip it back across my chest for safety. Just a standard lap belt may not keep you in your vehicle.
