Front bumperish
« on: May 09, 2010, 11:34:29 AM »
I am about to link my front end. It's an 86 and I need a little help in the idea department. I'll be pushing the front axle 8" forward witch will put the up travel into the headlights with 40's. I have searched high and low :inthedark: to find some pictures of a set up like this for inspiration. No luck :help: I know I wont be retaining any part of a factory headlight or a traditional bumper. What I will have is a small winch mount between the tires with a little protection for the winch. I have an existing exo that I will tie in the front fender bar with somehow. The wheel wells will be getting cut a little higher and straight out to match up with the line of the hood and a tube added to the exo at the same level. Here is what it looks like now. The bumper you see will be tossed and I'll be starting over completely. And no thats not me. Also, the date is not right.

have you checked out any builds on pirate? there are countless threads over there to look through and give you ideas. you'll have better luck just browsing around and seeing what there is to see. i've gotten so many ideas from lurking over there its ridiculous...

anyways good luck with linking your junk
