My  :twocents:  ... If you can come up with half down.. then find some good used ones and don't get caught up in owing money to Les Schwab or anyone..  don't feed the credit crisis! The interest rates will suck and if anything happens and you cant pay, they can and will come get the wheels back!

But, at the same time, if you are responsible and keep up with your payments, you will have built up some good credit history.  In these times, its not about feeding the credit issue, its about being responsible and not getting in over your head.

It's very easy to get upside down when making payments, especially if your income changes drastically.  I've done it and wish I hadn't, especially now that I'm making a lot less than I used to.  Luckily, I did put a good dent in my debt before the job change, but it's very tough to keep up with it now and it's very easy to fall a little behind and get hosed.  You couldn't pay me to open another line of credit right now  :ack:

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

That makes more cents (get it), my credit is flawless, but, at the same time, im not running out to get loans and products on credit, unless its something i absolutely need, and can be written into the budget without causing any strain or lack of funds.
