Parking brake cable, 94 ex cab pickup (front part)

My parking brake cable on my 94 is broken it's the front cable, not the rear ones...

the one that attaches to the parking brake handle.

I know I can get one from the dealer for like $70, but was hoping I could find something cheaper...

if its frayed at all i do not want it, I have dealt with un-reliable parking brakes in the past and I DO NOT want to worry about this one...
