Tie Rod Ends for High Steer
« on: Jul 17, 2021, 03:19:54 PM »
My 4Runner has high steer from either Marlin or possibly Trail Gear (assumed to be a copy so the same) from around 2005 or 2006.  I have always assumed that it used FJ80 tie rod ends, but it looks like Marlin is selling something else currently. Are these interchangeable with FJ80 parts or which one do I need?
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Thanks for the offer. I’ll just pick some up as I’m sure the FJ parts will be correct.
