Single case skid plate comparison ??
« on: Dec 07, 2009, 03:10:34 PM »
I am looking to buy a single case skid plate for a 95 runner.  I know Budbilt makes one, but I am looking to do some research and comparisons.  If any one knows of other companies that make them, please let me know. Thanks.

marlin crawler has an exclusive one from budbuilt

all-pro also has a crossmember

everyone makes them, they are all pretty similar

I have seen a bunch of dual case crossmember/ skidplate stuff, but only the budbilt single case skid/crossmember.  The Marlin one is for dual cases, same w/ the all pro. I have a single auto case and I think a dual case setup would hit the driveshaft.

Slight thread jack.  Can you use a dual case skid plate/crossmember (budbuilt style) with a single case?  In other words, want the crossmember/skid plate but don't plan on duals for a while and don't want to buy two different ones.
