what grease to use on a birfiled?

i was reading the fsm and the molybdenium lithium grease is recomended.  i was trying to google it to find a brand name and noting came up.
what is everyone using to do the birfs?

A good quality high temp disk brake wheel bearing grease will work.
No cheap budget grease here please.

We use red high temp grease at the shop. $74.00 for a 5 gallon pail.

I use the Mag 1 Hi-Temp Disc Brake Wheel Bearing Grease, Its red.

Like 5 bucks for a 1lb tub

Nice to know since I just ordered a knuckle service kit...... WooHooo.... Now the ol lady can stop complaining bout the grease spots on the drive way.

i was breaking so many birfields i just used whatever i could find cheap. usually out of the pump at work.

I always wondered if marlin posted on his own forum and today I just found proof.
SAS 89 p/u 3.0 5speed, bobbed, locked, ready to play in the rocks. or wherever the pavement ends :)

   Since you are posting about grease sir...Do you have an option on the "Motor Kote" brand.
I have used the Oil additive in the engine and Diffs.. A nice improvement in mileage and lower temps all around.

I can say I trust the friction modifier but I don't know what quality grease they are putting it in.. :dunno:
