whats the ez way to pull the pan on ifs. I have a 1987 4runner the oil pan leaks i need to put a new gasket on. it looks like a tough job ant input would help. thanks david

Undo the 2 vertical bolts on the front diff and let it pivot down on the front horizontal bolt.  (you don't need to remove driveshaft or cv shafts)

Unbolt the motor mounts from the K-member and lift engine as high as you can.

You'll gain just enough room to drop the pan.    (it tends to hang up on the oil pickup when reinstalling............)
