I know, I don't need the blinkers to work but I just wanted to have the truck in great working order so he won't have to think about anything

Right now I've got some Rice-Rocket style blinkers 'cuz the front lights are missing so there is less resistance and the capacitor gets charged up faster now because the current (I) in the circuit does not lose as much of its potential (ΔV) due from resistance (R). This can be seen in ΔV=IR, and the total Capacatance is C=Q/ΔV where Q is the total electric charge in the circuit. The time is less because of q(t)=Q[1-e^(-t/RC)] where RC is the total time constant, and of course the total Current is equal to the EMF (Electromotive Force) devided by resistance. So less resistance = more charge = less time in 't' needed to fill Q-not to q.
oh crap what am I talking about?  :stomp: I gotta stay off of drugs

BTW I don't know that blinkers have capicitors, could be wrong and your theory holds since that is what a capicitor does but I think it uses something a bit different, not sure though?

Mike you are really thinking too hard.  Wire the front corner lights with the ground left out of the system.  Use the + from the marker and the blinker on the light.  Just connect the blinker where the - was connected on the marker light.  Then all you have to do is put a electronic blinker can inplace of the factory heated element style and you end up with steady blinkers and a new combo marker/blinker in the front.  Total cost, about $10 :gap:
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
