problem with new t case
« on: May 08, 2009, 11:15:56 AM »

last night i swapped in my rebuilt 4.7 tcase. the shift block on the left(hi low) works but the 2wd-4wd block

wont move. my guess is its something to do with how the case went into the tranny. when it was out everything

worked fine.

just wondering if any body has experienced the same situation.

thanks
got another 85 runner. build coming soon!!

just tried it with no luck. i think it has something to do with the hd marlin gasket. i am thinking the shift rail that sticks past the case into the tranny is some how pinched.
