L.E.D. tailights
« on: Oct 30, 2010, 10:04:33 PM »
Hey im putting LED tailights on the back of my flat bed and im curious as to where the blinker relay is located on the truck . . . . .under the dash? or under the hood? I just don't want my blinkers to flash like crazy and if i understand it correctly if you can match up the stock flasher with one that will accept leds you won't have an issue . . . Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated

thanks in advance
-ben

there's also this relay I was directed to:

so your blinkers don't blink super-fast

Dosent it depend on what year your truck is.  Im pretty sure my relay in my 1982 is located on the passenger side under the dash.  Least thats where  my clicking noise comes from.
