If it ain't gonna be a "hard core" wheeler, and per your statement of "MILD" wheeling - I would invest minimal money into it. It's a YOTA - it can do it.
No solid axle(per "MILD wheeling"), no lift, chop fenders fit tires, gear it, lock it, and go.
Next truck I build will be a LOW riding truck. If I could have my way, the damn thing could drive upside down.
