Hendrix F-Toy #095 FOR SALE + tons MORE!!!
« on: Mar 25, 2009, 12:21:20 PM »
Im thinking realy hard about building up another buggy so gonna throw this out there to see if I get any bites.  I finished up this thing at the end of 08 and it has been wheeled 3 times.....all of them to Clayton, OK.  I tell you now it flat GETS IT!  Everyone that has seen it wheel is picking there jaw up off the ground.  Anyway here are the specs.  Keep in mind I remember something more about this rig everyday so keep checking back for updates.

#095 chassis DOM, recessed side bracing, dash bar, rear seat bar options.
on 83 Shortbed frame from the south so NO rust or rot.
87 22RE with around 65,000 miles (carb intake and propane now)
All new propane stuff Impco CA200 mixer, Model E vaporizor, Model J lockoff.
3 propane tanks (two steel, 1 alum) all this stuff is NEW not rebuilt junk.
Engine runs great, no smoke, ticks, knocks, etc.
W56 tranny, dual cases joined by a TG dual case adapter
NOTE:  tranny missing 3rd/4th gears but was told by Toyota/Lexus mechanic that it is probably the bolt on the shift rail that is broken and will have to open up the tranny to fix......NO FEAR extra W56 included!!  This really has not bothered me cause it stays in 1st or 2nd anyway.
NOTE:  broke a rear output on the tcase this past weekend, I plan on installing a Longfield output or will sell as is and knock some off the price.
FROR skid plate and tcase crossmember modified for a near flat belly.
Square driveshafts to 85 front axle all rebuilt, TG diff armor, low steer designed like Brian Ellingers Ftoy, hydro assist, 1.5" DOM tierod with heim joints, 4.10 gears welded up, Longfield 30 spline axles, TG drive flanges, 1.5" spacers in front, ARP knuckle studs NIB not installed.
rear is an all stock 87 IFS width rear, 4.10 welded up.
All this sitting under 5" TG springs (leafs removed as recommended)
Rear springs inboarded with Toolbox guy inboard mounts.
14" ProComp shocks, NEW never installed.:shaking:
Optima redtop battery in custom mount under dash, 12 Volt guy Ftoy panel
quick disconnect steering wheel, offbrand old suspension seats (passenger side kinda rough but WAY better than plastic racing seats)
Corbeau harnesses, one driver side shoulder harness ruined by getting on exhaust.
I also have a set of NIB TG 4.7 gears for the rear case Im gonna put in when I pull the tranny and tcase to fix.
Tires are 38.5 SX's that are around 85%, no plugs, patches or crap like that.  Also have a set of NEW 15x8" Black rockcrawler rims with 2" BS.

I think that is about it, I never painted it cause I couldnt decide which color, it has not rusted either.....always stored indoors.  I also have an 87 4runner (no title) that I will include with it to sweeten the deal.  It is not running, but has 22RE, W56, NO tcase, steering box or front axle (includes 83 model empty housing)  Motor is tore down to block and it looks good, I have NIB head with new cam, new front timing cover, timing chain kit, water pump, oil pump, radiator....ALL NEW!  You could easily come out of this with two rigs to wheel with just alittle more money in the 4runner.  I am gonna ask $8000 for the pair or will split up or whatever.  Im negotionable but dont lowball, this rig is impressive, has done about everything at Clayton, OK fairly easy.  If you want to take it as is without fixing anything then make it $7500.  Would do some trading for a 6.0L Chevy motor, 47" LTB's, Atlas 4.3, TH400.  Located in Palestine, Texas.  Im also throwing in everything Toyota I have left, carb intakes, distributors, oil pan, heads, etc.  You come pick up the rigs and you better bring some boxes.  I got another shop about 1.5 hours away that has even more stuff in it.  Will help with delivery if it is reasonable and you help with fuel.  Thanks for looking!
