I dont think you can stop duel 4-7's in an auto unless you can find the right stall. But i run one
with a single 4-7 thinking of duels but want too see one with them first maybe somebody can help. :headscratch: :burnout:

I bought FToy #27 from Chris over a year and a half ago and it is still going strong. The auto works great.

Chris said he had problems with the tranny heating up.  have you had any problems with it yet?

Yes. When I first got it, it would get pretty hot going to the trail. I put a fan on the original cooler and that helped, but still ran pretty hot. Put a really large cooler on and problem solved. It was never a problem on the trail with heating.

I have one in my buggy with a single 4.7 and it's perfect. An ultimate would be a waste IMHO. A single 4.7 or stock duals (for the option of 2.28) is the way to go.
I run a seperate cooler with a fan= no cooling issues at all
I spent most my money on booze, broads, and 4x4's; the rest I wasted!

Doing a a340h swap in my truck right now. Inchworm was talking about making a plug for the trans if there was enough interest. I say we blow up this thread a plug would really help in the heating issue and would not have a huge open space taking up fluid when you switch to a gear case.
