hi everyone  ive got a request to see some exo-cages.im new to the wheelin seen but i want my rig to last.i live in washington the trees are tight and what rocks we do have can be brutal. my rig has the basics ,lift,locker,tires/have a winch but need some designs so i can cage it and mount the winch. i need ideas so if you have pics of your exo cages lets see them i would also like to see any pics of a full cage design on the interior i have a son who likes to come would only be fair to make him safe inside in the back. most cages out are only for the cab i have an 88 4runnerthank you for your help

if you do not have a good turn out of pictures.... look in the rig gallery section of this site and you will find lots of desighns. good luck!

I am currently looking into how I can exo my cherokee . but I have yet to see one with an exo . anyone seen one and know where they connected it to the body .

thanks guys the link and your info was great and to rockscrambler ive seen a few exod cherokees there is one for sale on the snort4x4 web site.dont know how to do the link thing or i would im not to smart on the computer

Exo-caging a cherokee would be very difficult since it is a unibody and not a ladder frame design. To put a cage into a unibody you need to use torque boxes to connect the cage to the unibody. You could also make a parimeter frame to connect to the unibody (via torque boxes) and connect your exo-cage to that. That takes a lot of measuring though and tearing everything off your jeep.

I would not mind a lite exo cage around my truck, but i have not seen many I like.
 It has to be tight and simple for it to look good in my book. $.02

thanx b ripper I'll look into that . I also heard or read a story before i bought my Cherokee about a sub-frame . kinda like bolting a tube frame to the suspension mounts then suspension to that but can't find it again don't remember where i read it.

That could be done but it would be a lot of tube bending and work.  Would definatley be cool though.

any one go off there rock sliders and make fender tubes. go from the slider to the rear bumper and the same with the front fender. if so i would like to see some pics. intrested in doing it to my 4runner
