the plan is to install a stock gear driven case into my tacoma. i have a new 23 spline input shaft, adapter plate for the 5 spd, minor rebuild kit, and TG twin stick.

now the question is what type of crawl box do i need if i put one in and is it possible to have a 23 spline crawl box and a 21 spline tcase.

the reason for going through this is that i have built a HJ60 front axle and need the pass drop tcase.

not sure what type of crossmember i will go with or modify a stocker depending on case setup

you need a top shift case out of a 4cyl truck. i think the years are from 79-95 i think. you can also get a front shift case and buy the inchworm shift mod. im not sure about the tacomas but on the hilux you can run 23 spline in the rear and 21 spline in the front case. the taco may need 23 spline in both
