I got my truck running. Runs pretty damn good, except it gets a lil hot sometimes. If im goin down the freeway at about 60, its fine, but if i go 70+ it gets to about 220 degrees. Normally its around 190, but if i get on it it will go to 210-225. Same with off roading, if i get on it for a while in 4lo it heats up. Its got a brand new radiator, fan clutch, 1 yr old thermostat, and aftermarket temp gauge. Im just wondering if this is normal for these engines, or if I should be looking for another problem. I know hg goin bad can sometimes cause overheating, but my oil looks good, and it runs tits. Thanks, input is appreciated.
