80 series rear
« on: Oct 25, 2008, 03:07:34 PM »
I have searched and searched and still I can't seem to find the information that I need. I need to know how much the pinion is offset from center in an 80 series rear end. I found where one guy said it was 4" and Slee Offroad said he thought it was 6 or 7". The reason I ask is I want to run it in a 99 4runner DD/trail rig and I need to do some calculations on the angles. I spoke to Troy at Tom Woods and he said he needed some good numbers to do the math.

Thanks

John

Thanks for the info. Now I can make a decision.
