Shaver area trails over Labor Day
« on: Aug 29, 2004, 08:14:45 PM »
Who's going? I'm heading up Friday after work. Probably do some night wheeling, Swamp, Coyote, Mirror, and what ever else sounds good.  :driving:

What time are you heading up? I think I got invited to the same thing. From what I hear the plan is to go into Swamp Friday night, come out Saturday and head for the Red Mnt. trailhead.

I'm headed up on my own unless others want to tag along. I was going to run Dusy but didn't have time to fab up some jerry can holders.  :smack: I'm going to head up from work (I'm off @ 4) and probably park the truck/trailer @ sand flats. Probably run Red, maybe Coyote Friday night. Maybe run over and do Swamp from Rock Creek end Saturday possibly camp Sat. night on Swamp. Then Maybe Mirror on Sunday. No definate plan, just a fun weekend. Got a 17 gal. tank now so I can get a bit more distance out of the truck.

Channel 13. I don't have a CB but Steve ( orange 83 flat bed toy ) has one.  I'll  problay be at Dinkey around 7:30. My buddy from Visila will need to drop his tow rig off somewhere around there. Where are you parking your truck?

I'm actually going to probably run up to sand flats for ease of getting off the trail on Sunday. Other times I've just unloaded somewhere on Rock Creek with a spot big enough for the Chevy and left it there. Never had a problem. If ya need to get ahold of me, my cell is 250-3585 and you can probably get me on that up until 5:00.
