Full b16 swap w LSD tranny...Oh yeah, its got its fair share of right parts...like I said, no hondata.....I like my swaps to have all of its functioning sensors etc.Has all typical bolt-ons but runs best with a straight header, no cat, no pipe....Oh yeah, i hate slicks...street drags are my type...Mid 12's, no slicks, chipped p28 ecu, bolt-ons, FULL INTERIOR  and  most importantly, PUMPED GAS!  Thats pretty impressive to me....And that was almost 5yrs ago.I have yet to do anything  more to it.Cuz like I said from above, "Its getting old here in Cali, and the popo's pullover imports like crazy and check for swaps".So theres no point in proceding the hobby anymore and I certainlly don't want a straight race car.Thats no fun
 at all....
In my eyes, I'm more impressed with a race car thats running most of its electric stock components, including a modified ECU...Thats great if you run a second faster than the other guy, its all about what you got and how you got it there.......But if you certainly got more sh-t than the other guy running a stupid  slow time, what ashame ......What impresses me is the unexpected, not expected.....!!!!! and so what if i'm old skool!

What really imppesses me are stock vehicles runnin unbelievable times...next to the modifed ones...

Ever seen a stock '89 crx si running 15.1 with a clutch. no other parts at all added at all..?My buddy bought one with almost 200k, althought it was in cherry condition, running strong...slapped a ACt clutch w/ street disc in it..Lowered it a bit and that was it...Just tryin to see what it could do in stock form....boy were we surprise......



More props. to the guy wit the less performance parts takin out the bigger dawg......Under dawg all the way........

yeah i have had two crx's with b16 swaps and more than a couple small bolt ons. an hf and an si.  my s2000 smoked both of them in a race.  my other buddy has an LS-vtec bored to a 1.9 with cams and a b16 tranny in his stripped out 96 hatch, and my stock S with an intake and clutch is still faster.  so unless you have some crazy factory monster b16, than i doubt your full interior civic would take my S.  anyways i dont think this guy wants to sell his GSR that bad because he still has not sent me any more pics and i havnt heard from him since saturday.  i would really like to get some more info on it!

Now heres a quick question....How fast is your s2k time wise?And what do you have in there?.A straight stock slap-on b20b Vtec, Gsr tranny, cold air intake,  chipped p28 ECU, open stock header, street tires already runs 13.8 1/4 mile. in a full interior '92 civic HB.... How does your cRX's do in the quarter?..
        ..I've done about 5 swaps like i stated above for people who wants to run 13's on the cheap.Never seem to disappoint anyone..fast,street driven, reliable, stock, and on pump gas...and with Nitious and slicks you'll be in the mid-high 12's on the cheap...

i wish i knew what it runs on the track. but we only have an eighth mile track about 30 miles from my house and i have never raced on it.

Hey forgot to tell you I have some Hasport Motor Mount on my Gsr. It did have some mod but took it off. Use to have: Hondata S300 tune and Greddy header, Mugen 1 gen Catback, Hondata intake gasket and excedy stage 1. some jun stage 1 cam, Blox itr stlye intake mainfold, msd wire, ngk ridum. Car pretty light after the front end was conver cause the big heavy bar in front was replace with the jdm bar which weight only 10 pound. trunk is epmty no spare or anything .

isn't that G-Tech device somewhat accurate or clos enough? That might be something to use to get an idea of what the 1/4m time is.

Is that what it had when it ran that time you mentioned above, 15.1 sec? thats alot of stuff...I've seen stock do better with a p28 ecu, and the buterfly removed from intake manifold..And clutch or course.....Another close friend of mines had a '94 LS with clutch, intake, chip ecu, WEB cams and cam sprokets,stock header and piping with removed muffler tank and ran a 14.8 sec.....We always use his car to make fun and go up against stock/slightly modded GSR's...WE LOVE POWERSHIFTING!

so it has hasport mounts but is pretty much stock otherwise?

Ran I @ bakerfield track but my clutch got burn out in third and the roll all the way out and still got 15.8. Never try after the new clutch but I can beat Rsx and Si K-20.

that sucks you didnt sell the del sol!  i am planning on going to pick up a 1991 integra ls special with a gsr swap this weekend. it is alot closer to home than your integra!  sorry it didnt work out to buy yours
