the guy in the apartment was a favor for the Irishman, he was gonna inspect the barrels of guns coming in from Ireland.

The Mayan that got offed was "making it right" with Clay for trying to kill him.

1st one was right, I thought the mayan that got offed was because he screwed up killing Clay, forcing the leader of the mayans to sit down with him, so the leader of the mayans had him killed.  Not to "make it right" with Clay for trying to kill him

no. if you watch it, when clay is talking to alvarez in the cell, he says something to him...i can't really remember but he makes it clear that there will be a blood payment for the attempted hit, and it is Alvarez' son.  Then at the table, he asks who wants to do the job.

hmmm, I may have to watch it again on sunday, or when they post it on the website.  I know Clay asked who wanted to repay the mayans with blood for the attempted hit, but when the mayan is killed, Alvarez is the one who gives the payoff to the vendor.  With Alvarez' performance with his son? just before they went to get a churro, I thought Alvarez wanted him killed for forcing him into a position where he had to meet with Clay, by screwing up the hit.  You know, when he's sitting at the picnic table, talking to the guy, and he keeps saying, you screwed up, and because you screwed up, I had to meet with Clay.  But its ok, it'll work out.  Then a few sentences later, he repeats himself.  :dunno:

yeah, and he also tells him he loves him just before a guy sticks a shiv in his neck. :gap:
I'll watch the rerun this weekend.

IIRC, he gave SOA the gun intel as per the jail cell deal. crap now i'm not sure...

Here's what I got out of the ending:
Jax, Opie, and Bobby did the favor for the Irishman
Alvarez had the guy(his son?) killed for botching killing Clay ( he wasn't surprised he was killed, he was angry with him for putting him in a position to meet with Clay, and he was the one who payed of the killer.)
A president of a different SOA charter took the job of making the Mayans pay with blood for the attempt on Clay, that will most likely happen next episode.

I'm not sure either, I'll have to watch the rerun too.

Thats just what I got, I definitely could be wrong though.  Are you saying the envelope he handed the vendor was the gun intel?  I just assumed it was a payoff for killing the guy.

yeah, if you look at it at the end, it says FOR ERNEST DARBY on it, and the guy that accepted doing the job was the guy selling churros at the end.

was it him?  I didn't think so, but I guess I'll have to watch it again.

:werd:  I was wondering if that was related to the one episode that I missed, but It looked to me like they (Bobby and Opie) recognized him and thats why Opie froze up. :dunno:

I have every episode on my DVR, but I am too lazy or busy or whatever to watch more than once. It is nice to watch the whole thing in 15 minutes though (holy mucho commercials!!)

Yeah, i was watching it in our bedroom while my wife was putting the baby to sleep.  She was about 5 minutes ahead of me (DVRs are amazing things!) and she came in the bedroom with this shocked "HOLY CRAP!" look on her face and said "You've gotta watch this!"  I seriously almost cried!  It made me a little sick to my stomach, seeing that poor guy hugging on his wife who just got blasted in the back of the noggin...  I couldn't believe it.  Broke my heart.

But you are totally right...when Hale smacked that ATF guy, I was like "Yeee-ah!"  I don't know if anyone else caught it, but the way he hit the guy, the look on his face when talking to the ATF woman, he wanted to put his fist in her face too.  I am in no way cool with guys beating up women, but I would have LOVED to see that doublecrossing witch get a serious COPS domestic violence type beat down!

We watched the first 8 episodes back to back to back online, and now having to wait a week to find out what happens...it friggin kills us!
