Topic: TRD elocker 3rd member W.Va. $350 or trade

This is an elocker 3rd member from a 99 taco. I bought it for my project '85 but after some soul searching i think i'd rather just have a straight up full time locker, as my rig really isn't goina see much pavement.

So, for your consideration

-complete 3rd member 4.10 gear ratio

-in my case i was going to regear it, but i'm guessin a good bearing/ whatnot service would be a good idea with this one anyway

-included is an older style cable actuator (allpro or downey i think) in fair condition

- i also have the electric motor, actuator but it is in rather poor condition and i wouldn't count on it working, but it might (i was planning on using a cable/ manual actuator and doing away with the gizmos anyway)

I'm looking for another locker for my axle of course, a detroit or maybe a truetrac...

$350 obo, i'm guessing shipping would be in the $50 neighborhood..

are taco elocked diffs are just the same with the v6 diff of 4runners?

they are based on the v6 style 3rd member, yes. they aren't drop in replacements however, as the housing must be modified for the elocker third member to fit. Theres a good write up on 4x4wire.com on the topic.
