86 SAS Toyota SR5 SB Pickup on 35's - Indiana
« on: Aug 10, 2008, 04:00:07 PM »
Located in Elkhart, IN

Asking: $3600 OBO

• 98% Rust free
• 22R with new timing chain, starter, alternator clutch slave cylinder, filters, NGK plugs, etc (does not leak a drop) unknown actual miles....runs very strong.
• G54 5 speed tranny with less than 6,000 miles on it, clutch is only a couple years old
• SAS with an 85 toyota front axle with Marlin front drop hanger (axle is forward 1.5” from stock)
• Marlin high steer, steering stabilizer, u-bolt flip kit, vented rotors w/ IFS calipers
• Rynolined body, inside and out with fresh rattle can paint job on exterior
• Bobbed Tacoma bed with rubber liner comes with roll bar mounted in it with 2 Procomp slim 55W 5” round lamps facing the rear
• Custom front tube bumper with 2 Procomp slim 55W 5” round lamps
• Optima red top battery
• Thorley Tri-y header, Catco high flow cat and Dynaflow muffler
• 35 x 12.50 r15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires mounted on Procomp series 51 steel 10” black powder coated rockcrawler wheels, with 2.5” BS. Tires have around 40%-20% tread left
• Procomp 4” leaf springs all around w/ marlin shackles - rears springs have been rebuilt = softer & increased flex.
• Marlin’s extended shock hoops in front with reinforced motor mounts.
• Custom made long slip extended front driveshaft built by local driveshaft shop.
• 1” body lift in order to make room for the custom 2” square tube rock sliders welded to frame
• Rancho front shocks and Procomp rear shocks
• Custom tube bumper in front w/ winch mount and two Procomp slim 55W 5” round lamps as well as 2 clevis
• Quick release full doors along with custom made tube doors
• Extended steel braided Procomp brake lines
• Factory sunroof
• SR5 guages with altimeter
• Jeep wrangler bucket seats (nice shape)
• Pilot steering wheel
• Rockford MP3/CD player w/ 2 aux inputs, 6 outputs. 2 Kenwood 2.5” in dash, 2 Rockford 4” in the back
• Custom diff breathers installed on rear (didn’t get to the front…everything is there)
• Working emergency brake!
• Bushwacker fender flares - cracked a bit and one is cut
• Clean and clear Indiana title
• Black plastic toolbox

Issues:
• The drivers floorboard needs some attention...it was patched before by the PO but not very well. I was meaning to fix it, but with a rubber mat over it was no bid deal, so I kept putting it off.
• The tach and oil pressure gauges do not work, but will/could with minor additions. You need a new oil pressure sending unit and the tach can be rerouted or just get an aftermarket one if you choose to. The gas gauge also stops reading after about 60 miles on a full tank - I would fill it every time I put 200 miles on the full tank.

I used this as a daily driver at college and it has made the trip from home to school (2hrs+) a little less than a dozen times with absolutely no issues. It was also driven to upper Michigan a couple times. It has no problem running 75 on the highway (keeping in mind the speedo adjustment because of tires and gears) (tires are even unbalanced and still do well) As it sits I can still get roughly 20mpg out of it.

I have a ton of money and time in this truck and don’t want to sell it, but I am moving to California in a couple months and would rather not haul it around the country. It has been to the Badlands Off-road Park a couple times and it performed very well.

I have the following if you are interested:

*A top shift transfer case already mated to Marlins dual case adapter MC07 that I can sell to the buyer for an extra $600. No assembly/disassembly of transfer case required – just bolt on to existing transfer case. It is the ready to run crawlbox on marlin’s site. MC07-U, 2.28:1 ratio, 21 spline. Retails for $699. It will also include a shifter and 2 marlin shift knobs. The case also has all new studs including extra ones.

*Yukon 4.88 front and rear R&P brand new, never opened/installed. I can also sell these to the buyer for an extra $350. I paid a little over $400 shipped to me.

*A complete 22R rebuild kit from EngineTech that I can sell to the buyer for an extra $250. Still brand new. requires boring 30 over. Retails for $300

*A complete front axle rebuild kit purchased from trail gear. Still brand new in packaging. Drivers and passenger side. Retails for $145 It will cost you the same.

CONTACT ME BY PM, PLEASE.

Bigben - i do still have the crawlbox.  i had thoughts of keeping it until i'm in a position to get another rig, but PM your offer to me and I'll think about it.
