T5 TRANS WITH TOYOTA T-CASE ADAPTER
« on: Sep 10, 2008, 06:03:10 PM »
W/C T5 Trans with an adapter for a 23spline gear driven Toyota T-case.

The donor car was a 1990 mustang GT. I purchased the adapter from Advanced Adapter. Tri-county Gear in Pomona rebuilt the trans and did the adapter install for me. it also has a Hurst short through shifter on it. This trans has not been used since the rebuild. I have all the receipts and an info booklet from Advanced Adapter. The AA part number is 50-1807. I’m told AA no longer offers this adapter.

I was planning to stuff a 302 into my 4runner. But my plans have changed since I decided to move. i would rather not take this trans with me on the move. $1,200.

I also have a T-case that came out of a 1998 4runner. $100.

I am located in Anaheim, CA.

I'm not interested in the tranny but have to ask, what is the 1st gear ratio in that tranny?
