FJ80 front axle parts for sale-NO 3rd! In NY
« on: May 18, 2008, 10:24:21 AM »
I have a 91 FJ80 front axle that I'm parting out. What I'm keeping is the 3rd member and the steering rods the rest is game. Remember the parts are in Binghamton NY. Sorry guys I do not have Paypal, a personal check or a postal money or will do. Here is what is for sale:

Birfs, axle shafts, knuckles, calipers, rotors, axle housing and what ever else. Here is a pic so you know what is good.

I haven't taken it apart yet but let me know what you want and we can work out a price. srvanddt at gmail.com

Sharon-It is odd how society sees things. Let's say a guy sleeps with all these girls, "he's the man!" or a stud but if a girl does, she's a total very *friendly* person or sleeper. Is society sexist?

Brandon-Well think about it this way. If a key can open a bunch of locks, it is viewed as a master key and is awesome to have but if a lock is opened by a lot of different keys, well thats a pretty shitty lock if you ask me.

I have all the USPS flat rate boxes and I'm pretty sure they will not fit together, maybe separate? I will let you know tomorrow.

Ok, I took the axle apart today and parts are up for grabs. They are really greasy and muddy. I put all the axle parts in a box so getting pictures will take a bit. I checked everything out and everything looks fine. The birfs look good and so does everything else. I will do my best to try and get you the weight but it will be tough since the only thing I have access to is a bathroom scale.

For the one who asked about shipping the whole axle, I do not have a weight yet. If I had to take a guess of the weight minus the 3rd, I would have to say around 150#.

Guys, it will be a bit before I can get the whole axle weighed. I have to put my truck on a scale in order to do it. Parts are still for sale as well since it will be easier to sell the parts than the whole axle unless someone can chime in and tell me from experience roughly how much it would cost to ship and how to ship it. I do not have access to crates at all.

Axle shafts SOLD

The calipers and the housing went to the scrap yard. I still have the other parts listed.
